Management Recommendation

Patient can be considered for outpatient management. No need for admission or urgent endoscopy. Arrange outpatient OGD within 24–48 hours.

GBS = 0 has been validated with ~99% sensitivity for identifying patients who do not need intervention. This patient can be safely discharged for outpatient follow-up with OGD within 24–48 hours. This reduces unnecessary admissions by ~20%.
